Our team has been working together since 2010, when Christchurch was devestated by the sequence of earthquakes. Collectively we have been involved in over $2 Billion worth of repairs, rebuilds ans settlements. As a team we are all of like mind in our approach to helping our clients to get back to normal and recover from the damage to their properties. We have all worked extensively with The Natural Hazards Commission (NHC), insurers, lawyers, builders and other consultants and specialists in restoring the value in people’s property.
While we continue to do this work, we have also moved to capitalise on this experience to assist homeowners who want to do major rennovations and rebuilds. Our offer is to work with you through the projects, guiding through he steps of major construction and de risking the project for you. We have a wide range of associates that we work with which we will introduce along the way.

Client Representative in the settlement of several complex residential Earthquake insurance claim settlements. Worked with MBIE in New Zealand Claims Resolution Service assisting clients resolve complex earthquake insurance claims. We have known David Norriss since 1969 when we were classmates at Otago University. Since then, he has owned his own business and undertaken many successful projects.
Most recently, since the Christchurch earthquakes he has been instrumental in helping us navigate a long and complicated re-assessment process of our property with the Earthquake Commission and our insurance company.
His ability to communicate with all parties both in addressing the big picture and the fine details as well as developing sensible solutions, is a most useful and enduring management skill no matter what the scope of the project involved.
His knowledge of a wide range of contractors in the design, the build and quality control oversight has been gained from the various roles he has had in leading the Stream team which had this role on behalf of insurers. His network is extensive and all those we have had contact with regarding our own situation shows he is held in high regard within the build and construction sector.Description text goes here

I am a qualified Quantity Surveyor, Licensed Building Practitioner, and experienced Project Manager with over 30 years of experience in the New Zealand construction industry. I established Property Values Limited in 2007 to provide professional quantity surveying, project management, and construction consultancy services across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. This aligns closely with the OnPoint project management partnership, which focuses on collaboration, quality delivery, and client-side leadership.I work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver accurate cost planning, contract administration, and end-to-end project management services from concept through to completion. I take a hands-on approach to every project, supported by a small core team and a network of trusted, qualified consultants engaged as required to meet each client’s needs.
As a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and a Licensed Building Practitioner (Carpentry and Site 1–3), I am committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and ensuring transparency, quality, and value in every project I undertake.
My focus is on delivering practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions, backed by a strong reputation for integrity, collaboration, and proven results throughout New Zealand.
